Water
treatment of boilers, cooling towers and domestic water, given by The Metro
Group, Inc.
Topics Include:
Filters, softeners, and other
ion-exchange pre-treatment, Reverse osmosis and pure-water systems for
industry, Chemical containment and drum-less delivery systems, Chemical feed
and control equipment, as well as remote monitoring, Water treatment for
commercial/institutional applications, Boiler and cooling water treatment
programs for industry, Chemicals for industrial process and wastewater,
Cooling tower cleaning and disinfections, as well as boiler waterside and
coil airside cleaning, Legionella testing, tank
cleaning and coatings, and domestic water quality compliance programs
This class will helpful to all Superintendents and Handymen,
so they may be able to understand how to promote a safe and healthy
building. At the conclusion of the class, the participates will have a
working knowledge of the reports given to them by their respective water
treatment companies. Proper blow down techniques will be covered as well.
The Metro Group will cover why water treatment is so important, not only to
the physical plant, but also to the human body as well.
